About Project Maitree: Project Maitree is a specialized Project Management Consultancy focused on Cooperative Housing Society Redevelopment in Mumbai. We work with housing societies through the redevelopment lifecycle including feasibility, tendering and developer selection, design review, development agreement coordination, approvals, construction monitoring and project completion.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Redevelopment Process Manager to coordinate and progressively manage multiple Cooperative Housing Society redevelopment projects at different stages of their lifecycle. This is not a conventional architectural design or site-engineering position. The role combines project management, technical understanding, documentation, stakeholder coordination and communication.

The selected candidate will initially work closely with the Principal Architect and progressively take independent responsibility for managing redevelopment assignments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and track redevelopment projects across various stages of the redevelopment lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Managing Committees, society members, developers, architects, legal consultants, surveyors and other project professionals.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, action trackers and pending-item lists.
- Coordinate feasibility, tendering, developer selection and post-developer-appointment activities.
- Assist in preparation and review of tender documents, comparative statements, presentations and redevelopment documentation.
- Review architectural drawings and technical/project submissions from a coordination perspective.
- Coordinate the developer selection and negotiation process.




- Track design development, Development Agreement-related technical matters, approvals and project milestones.
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, minutes, correspondence and action points.
- Attend Managing Committee, developer, consultant and Society meetings as required.
- Follow up systematically with various stakeholders and ensure closure of pending activities.
- Identify project delays, dependencies and unresolved issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Maintain organized digital and physical project records.
- Contribute to development and improvement of Project Maitree's redevelopment SOPs, checklists, templates and management systems.

Candidate Profile

- 3 to 5 years of relevant skilled experience.
- B.Arch / B.E. Civil / B.Tech Civil qualification.
- Ability to understand architectural and technical drawings.
- Strong project coordination and follow-up capability.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare professional correspondence, reports and presentations.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders systematically.
- Willingness to attend project and Society meetings and travel within Mumbai as required.

Preferred Experience

- Redevelopment PMC / Cooperative Housing Society Redevelopment
- Real-estate project management
- Architectural/PMC consultancy involving redevelopment projects
- Developer coordination and project documentation
- Working knowledge of Mumbai redevelopment processes, DCPR 2034, FSI concepts and coordination with developers/consultants will be an advantage.
