Job Role

Quality Inspector

Department

Quality Assurance / Quality Control

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct in-process and final inspection of cartridge cases as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Perform dimensional inspection using measuring instruments and gauges.
- Carry out visual inspection to identify defects, damages, and other quality abnormalities.
- Verify critical dimensions and process parameters at designated stages of production.
- Ensure that inspection activities are performed as per approved inspection procedures and work instructions.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain quality inspection records.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for resolution of quality issues.
- Support root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive actions for recurring defects.
- Ensure proper identification and traceability of inspected material.
- Maintain cleanliness, calibration status, and proper handling of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Follow all applicable quality, safety, and workplace procedures.

Shift Requirement

Day / Night Shift





Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts.

Working Hours

8 Hours / 12 Hours, depending on production and operational requirements.

Relocation

Candidates should be willing and prepared to relocate to Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, as per the requirements of the position.

Preferred Candidate

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience in quality inspection, dimensional inspection, or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges, Height Gauge, and other precision inspection equipment will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and dimensional specifications.
- Valuable observation skills and attention to detail.
- Freshers with relevant technical qualifications and a willingness to learn may also apply.
