Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Quality Engineer to join our Aerospace Manufacturing / Booster Fabrication team. The ideal candidate will ensure product and process conformance to aerospace quality standards, support inspection and NDT activities, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations including welding, machining, heat treatment, and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications to verify conformance of manufactured components.
- Review and monitor welding, machining, heat treatment, and assembly processes for compliance with quality and engineering requirements.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records in accordance with aerospace standards.
- Perform and/or oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities — MT, UT, PT, and VT — ensuring adherence to applicable procedures and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, AS9102, and other applicable aerospace quality standards.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process inspection, and final inspection activities.
- Identify, document,



and drive resolution of non-conformances through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve process reliability.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Maintain calibration, traceability, and documentation control per aerospace quality management system requirements.

QualificationsEducation

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Aerospace Manufacturing, or Booster Fabrication (Bachelor's Degree holders).
- 4+ years of relevant experience required for Diploma holders.

Certifications & Mandatory Requirements

- NDT Level II certification – ASNT Level II in at least one or more of the following methods: MT / UT / PT / VT (Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Penetrant, Visual Testing).
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles – Mandatory.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
