- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure products meet specifications and standards.
- Evaluate and improve the existing quality management system.
- Maintain quality control documentation and records.
- Inspection and Testing:
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they conform to specifications.
- Conduct tests and inspections at various stages of production.
- Verify the accuracy of analyzers and test equipment.
(ii)Supplier Quality Control:
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery date.
- Ensure raw materials from suppliers meet quality standards.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain inspection and test records.
- Prepare and maintain engineering design drawings and shop drawings.
- Ensure all quality control documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
(iii)Training and Support:
- Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
- Provide technical support to management on quality-related matters.
(iv) Coordination:
- Coordinate with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Sales to ensure effective supply chain management.
- Schedule production stages to minimize costs and meet delivery timeframes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in quality control, preferably in the HVAC&R; industry.
- Robust understanding of quality management systems and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
