Your Tasks –

Lead the end-to-end quality strategy for engineering tool development, ensuring effective testing, quality gates, risk-based coverage, defect management, and release readiness. Drive continuous quality improvement through automation, root-cause analysis, traceability, and quality reporting. Collaborate with Agile delivery teams and stakeholders to promote early validation, continuous feedback, and a strong quality culture.

To ensure that you will-

- Establish the end-to-end quality approach for the Engineering tool development solution across requirements, design, development, integration, migration and release.
- Define and maintain quality strategy, standards, quality gates, entry and exit criteria and required quality evidence.
- Review features, requirements, designs and acceptance criteria for testability, completeness and quality risk.
- Define risk-based coverage for functional, integration, regression, migration, performance and relevant non-functional quality areas.
- Guide delivery teams on test design, automation priorities, test data, environments, defect prevention and quality engineering practices.
- Lead defect governance, quality reviews,



root-cause analysis and corrective or preventive actions.
- Maintain traceability from requirements to tests, defects and release evidence.
- Provide objective quality dashboards, release-readiness assessments and recommendations to Product Management and stakeholders.
- Promote early validation, continuous feedback and a strong quality culture across the Agile delivery flow.

Your qualification/ minimum requirements -

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mechanical engineering ,Business or a related field.
- Experience range: 4 to 8 years in software quality assurance, test architectureor quality engineering for enterprise applications.
- Robust experience defining test strategy, quality gates, risk-based testing, traceability and defect governance.
- Working knowledge of functional, integration, API, regression, migration and non-functional test approaches. Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery and collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers and Testers.
- Ability to analyze quality metrics, conduct root-cause analysis and communicate evidence-based release recommendations.
- Strong written and spoken English, stakeholder management, coaching and facilitation skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with test automation strategy and tools such a, Selenium, Cypress or equivalent.
- Experience with API tools, SQL/data validation, CI/CD quality controls and test-management solutions.
- Experience using AI or AI-assisted tools for quality engineering, test-strategy development, risk analysis, defect analysis or test automation is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive R&D;, product issue management, Engineering workflow enterprise platforms.
- Experience in legacy modernization, data migration, security/privacy validation or access-management testing.
- Relevant testing or quality certification and a team-oriented continuous-improvement mindset.
