Qlik Sense Development & Solution Design

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale Qlik Sense dashboards, reports, and analytics applications.
- Develop scalable Qlik Sense data models and scripting solutions.
- Define technical approaches covering:
- Data ingestion
- ETL and transformation
- QVD layers
- Data modeling
- BI reporting and visualization

- Translate business requirements into effective and actionable Qlik Sense solutions.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable.

Qlik Sense & Qlik Cloud Delivery

- Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications across enterprise environments.
- Perform application migration from Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Cloud (SaaS).
- Use appropriate Qlik migration tools and follow established migration best practices.
- Analyze existing applications, data connections, security requirements, and migration dependencies.
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and production stabilization of Qlik Cloud applications.

Data Modeling, ETL & QVD Optimization

- Design and implement efficient Qlik Sense data models.
- Develop and optimize QVD layers and ETL scripts.
- Integrate data from SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and other enterprise data sources.
- Optimize data extraction, transformation, loading, and refresh processes.
- Implement best practices for data quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Performance Optimization

- Analyze and optimize Qlik Sense application performance.
- Tune load scripts, data models, QVDs, expressions, and dashboard applications.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data loading and application execution.




- Ensure dashboards and analytical applications provide reliable and responsive user experiences.

Qlik Cloud Security & Governance

- Implement and manage Qlik Cloud security, user access, roles, permissions, and governance.
- Configure access controls based on business and organizational requirements.
- Support secure application and data access across Qlik Cloud environments.
- Follow enterprise security and governance standards.

Qlik Automations & Reporting Workflows

- Design and implement Qlik Automations to automate reporting and business workflows.
- Develop personalized insight and report distribution solutions.
- Enable automated report and insight delivery through:
- Email
- Microsoft Teams
- WhatsApp

- Integrate Qlik Automations with relevant applications, data sources, and communication channels.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation workflows.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design, requirement discussions, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Provide technical guidance on Qlik Sense and Qlik Cloud capabilities.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to business and technical stakeholders.

Agile Delivery & Engineering Practices





- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, and technical discussions.
- Ensure high-quality delivery through development standards, testing, validation, and optimization.
- Maintain technical documentation, data models, application documentation, and solution artifacts.

Roles and Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate Profile

4+ years of experience in Qlik Sense development, BI, analytics, or related technologies.

Solid expertise in Qlik Sense, Qlik scripting, data modeling, QVDs, and ETL.

Hands-on experience with Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik Cloud (SaaS) migration.

Strong understanding of Qlik Cloud security, access management, roles, and governance.

Experience in Qlik Automations and automated report distribution.

Strong proficiency in SQL and understanding of data warehousing concepts.

Experience integrating data from databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.---

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Qlik certification is preferred.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience in enterprise BI and analytics implementations.

Exposure to other Qlik technologies such as QlikView, NPrinting, Qlik Replicate, or Qlik Compose is an advantage.
