Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to ensure that all construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct quality inspections for RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring and finishing works.
- Check reinforcement, cover, spacing, lap length, levels, dimensions and alignment as per approved drawings.
- Monitor concrete quality, including slump test, cube casting, curing and cube test records.
- Inspect incoming construction materials and verify Material Test Certificates (MTC), approvals and quality requirements.
- Prepare and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists and method statements.
- Raise Inspection Requests (IR) and coordinate with consultants/client representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Identify quality issues and raise NCRs/observations where required.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, subcontractors and consultants for rectification and closure of quality issues.
- Maintain QA/QC records including inspection reports, test reports, material approvals, calibration records,



cube registers and quality checklists.
- Ensure construction activities comply with relevant IS Codes, project specifications and approved quality procedures.
- Monitor workmanship and minimize rework through regular site inspections.
- Assist in internal/external quality audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly Quality Reports and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of building construction and civil finishing works.
- Strong knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering and concrete quality control.
- Knowledge of ITP, Method Statements, IR, NCR and QA/QC documentation.
- Ability to read and understand civil/structural drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and construction quality standards.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and reporting.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in building/residential/commercial construction projects.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Candidates with hands-on site QA/QC experience will be preferred.
- Ability to independently handle day-to-day quality inspections and documentation.
