About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Engineer (Civil) who can ensure that all civil construction activities at the project site are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring construction quality, conducting inspections, maintaining records, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards. This JD is based on the reference document provided.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and inspect civil construction activities such as concreting, masonry, structural works, finishing works, and infrastructure development.
- Ensure all civil works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality plans, and relevant codes/standards.
- Conduct material inspections and verify the quality of incoming construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, concrete, blocks, and finishing materials.
- Witness and monitor field tests, laboratory tests, and quality control activities related to civil works.




- Identify quality deviations and non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with site teams and contractors.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, checklists, test reports, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on quality-related matters.
- Participate in site audits, internal quality reviews, and inspections.
- Support project teams in the closure of punch points and quality observations before handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and project quality requirements.

Requirements

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in civil quality assurance and quality control, preferably in industrial, infrastructure, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with IS Codes, quality management systems, and construction quality documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation tools.
- A safety-conscious individual with a systematic approach to inspections and documentation.
