It specialises in the design and development of high-performance trading systems for institutional participants viz Large Banks & HFTs. Our eFX Trading Platform is the backbone of our business, supporting real-time pricing, market making, algorithmic trading, auto-hedging, and risk management.

Role overview:

We're looking for a QA Capability Lead to own quality across the SDLC and into production. You will work in tight integration with development and operations - guiding and assisting implementation, testing, and the ongoing monitoring of quality in the wild. Quality is every developer's responsibility; your job is to keep the big picture, embed consistent practice, and safeguard quality over time.

This is a hands-on lead, not a manager-only one. You build the process, do the testing, and lift the wider team's practices as you go. You take personal ownership, work with autonomy, and are comfortable making judgement calls under uncertainty. You won't wait for work to be thrown over the fence - you're a stakeholder from requirements through to release and beyond.

What You will Do:

- Own the QA lifecycle end-to-end: requirements analysis, test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting
- Grow QA capability across dev, and IT align on common tools and approaches so quality becomes everyone's practice, not a bottleneck that sits with manual testers
- Shift testing left - review requirements and designs early to catch ambiguity as early in the development process as possible




- Work with Development to develop and maintain automation frameworks and weave testing into CI/CD pipelines so developers get immediate feedback when a change breaks functionality
- Apply risk-based testing - prioritise the most critical, customer-facing features rather than testing everything for every release
- Run performance and security testing: access controls, vulnerability scans, and load testing
- Track meaningful outcome metrics (Defect Escape Rate, Mean Time to Detection, Defect Removal Efficiency) - not vanity counts
- Leverage AI tooling to generate test cases, produce synthetic test data, and surface edge cases humans might miss.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's or master’s in engineering or a related discipline
- QA process development
- Automation testing and CI/CD integration
- Security testing
- FX / financial markets experience (Highly preferable)
- Use of AI tools in QA workflows (preferable)
