Required Qualifications

- 10+ years in software QA/testing with at least 5 years focused exclusively on Non-Functional Testing (performance, load, stress, security) for enterprise-grade web applications.
- Proven track record of architecting and driving NFT programs end-to-end — from customer NFR workshops through tooling setup, test execution, and executive-level reporting.
- Hands-on proficiency with performance/load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Locust, or k6, and security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Nessus, or Qualys.
- Solid working knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, Azure Load Testing, Azure Monitor, Application Insights) and its impact on application performance and security posture.
- Experience with APM and observability platforms (Dynatrace, Datadog, or New Relic) for performance profiling, bottleneck isolation, and capacity planning.
- Strong communication and consulting skills — ability to run NFR definition sessions with customers, present risk-rated findings to non-technical stakeholders, and align cross-functional teams on quality gates.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in performance testing (ISTQB Performance Testing Specialist) or security testing (CEH, OSCP, or relevant Azure security certifications).
- Experience with UI/UX performance measurement tools (Google Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Core Web Vitals) for page responsiveness and load-time optimization on B2B portals.
- Prior experience in an IT services or consulting setting — managing NFT deliverables, customer expectations, and multi-stakeholder engagements simultaneously.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and shift-left security integration within Azure-based CI/CD workflows.
- Exposure to accessibility testing standards (WCAG 2.1) relevant to enterprise B2B web applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the end-to-end Non-Functional Testing strategy and framework covering performance, load, stress, UI/UX responsiveness, and security vulnerability testing for an Azure-hosted B2B web application.
- Lead customer-facing NFR requirement workshops — translate business expectations into measurable test criteria, SLA thresholds, and acceptance gates in collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.
- Evaluate, select, and onboard the NFT tooling stack; establish standards for load simulation, vulnerability scanning, and frontend performance profiling suited to the Azure platform.
- Design realistic workload models, test scenarios, and data strategies for load and stress testing that reflect B2B usage patterns, peak traffic, and failure conditions.
- Plan and execute security vulnerability assessments (VAPT) aligned to OWASP Top 10; coordinate with DevSecOps teams to log, prioritize, and track remediation of findings.
- Integrate NFT suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, establishing automated performance gates and regression baselines that block releases when thresholds are breached.
- Monitor application performance using APM tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, or Application Insights); analyse bottlenecks and provide root-cause analysis with actionable optimization recommendations.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers — providing technical direction, script/code reviews, and hands-on guidance during test execution, triage, and reporting to both technical and business audiences.
