Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Python & Snowflake Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Python development, Snowflake, API development, and authentication mechanisms.

The engineer will work on building scalable solutions and implementing key capabilities around Snowflake Sharding and OAuth authentication.

MUST Have as per client:

We need someone with

- Python and strong Snowflake skills for Sharding and OAuth implementation.
- Designing and developingscalableREST APIs using Python

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs using Python.
- Work extensively with Snowflake, including database design, performance optimization, and data processing.
- Design and implement Sharding strategies to support scalability and performance requirements.
- Implement and integrate OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization for secure application and API access.




- Develop efficient Python components and services that integrate with Snowflake.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and performance-related issues.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices, and engineering guidelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and other engineering stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on development experience with Python.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with Sharding / data partitioning concepts and implementation.
- Hands-on experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication mechanisms.
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using Python.
- Good understanding of API security, scalability, performance, and error handling.
- Experience working with SQL and data-intensive applications.
- Valuable understanding of software engineering best practices, Git, CI/CD, and Agile development.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with Snowflake performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience working in product engineering or SaaS environments would be an advantage.
