Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders.

The Purchasing

Manager monitors inventory levels, ensures timely replenishment of materials, and coordinates with production, quality, and logistics teams to meet delivery and cost targets. Day-to-day tasks include vendor relationship management, assessment of supplier performance, and maintaining accurate purchasing records and reports. The role also involves ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards,



while continuously seeking cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
- Strong skills in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, with the ability to build and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in inventory management, demand forecasting, and cost analysis to support efficient material planning and budgeting.
- Ability to work with ERP or procurement software, and strong competency in MS Excel and other relevant office tools.
- Knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance practices applicable to medical devices and healthcare products.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and coordinate with internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, and make data-driven decisions in a quick-paced environment.
