Role Description This is a full-time, in office Purchasing Engineer role based in Vadodara.

The Purchasing

Engineer will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including planning, sourcing, and issuing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services required for FRP/GRP production.

Responsibilities include evaluating vendor quotations, conducting cost and quality comparisons,



and ensuring timely delivery in line with production schedules. The role involves maintaining accurate purchasing records, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with engineering, production, and finance teams to support project requirements.

The Purchasing

Engineer will also analyze purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings, supplier performance improvement, and process efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including purchase management and purchase planning.
- Experience in handling purchase orders and related documentation with attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Solid analytical skills for evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and optimizing cost and lead time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably FRP/GRP or similar materials.
- Proficiency in ERP or procurement software and MS Office tools.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Vadodara and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
