Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with a solid background in the FMCG industry. The candidate must have hands-on experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing, inventory planning, and cost optimization within an FMCG environment. Candidates from industries other than FMCG will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for FMCG products, packaging materials, and related supplies.

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

- Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and supply agreements.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, warehouse, and sales teams to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.

- Analyze market trends, raw material prices, and supplier performance.





- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and quality standards.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

- Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and procurement forecasts.

- Handle supplier audits, evaluations, and performance reviews.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5-10 years of purchasing/procurement experience in the FMCG industry.

- Strong knowledge of FMCG procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

- Proficiency in SAP software.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple suppliers and procurement categories.
