Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our manufacturing operations in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably from the electrical, control panel, power electronics, UPS, inverter, or similar manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of control panel wiring materials and components.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of electrical, control panel wiring and related manufacturing materials.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines and reliability.
- Procure control panel wiring materials, electrical components, cables, wires, terminals, connectors, lugs, MCBs, contactors, relays, SMPS, switches and other related items.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering and Stores teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations, negotiate prices and finalize purchase orders.
- Develop and maintain a strong supplier/vendor network.
- Compare quotations and negotiate commercial terms to achieve cost optimization.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve issues related to shortages, quality and delays.
- Maintain purchase records,



vendor details, quotations, purchase orders and related documentation.
- Coordinate with Stores for inward material, inspection and reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of critical materials.
- Identify alternate suppliers and materials wherever required.
- Ensure procurement is in line with approved specifications, quality standards and company policies.

Required Skills & Competencies

- 3+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in an electrical manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Control Panel Wiring and electrical components.
- Valuable understanding of electrical materials, components and their applications.
- Experience in vendor development, negotiation and price comparison.
- Good knowledge of Purchase Orders, RFQs, quotation comparison and procurement processes.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work closely with Production, Engineering, Stores and Quality teams.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel/ERP/SAP will be an added advantage.

Qualification ITI / Diploma / BE / B.Tech / Graduate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
