To manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, consumables, bought-out items and production-related materials required for the Composite Division, ensuring the right material is available at the right quality, cost and time to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

A. Raw Material Procurement

- Procure composite manufacturing raw materials as per production and material requirements.
- Handle procurement of materials such as:
- Resins – Polyester / Epoxy / Vinyl Ester
- Fiberglass / Glass Mat / Woven Roving
- Carbon Fibre / Aramid Fibre, wherever applicable
- Catalysts, hardeners, accelerators and additives
- Gelcoat, pigments and fillers
- Adhesives, release agents and other process consumables
- Core materials and other composite-related items.
- Ensure material availability as per production schedules and BOM requirements.

B. Vendor Development & Management

- Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors for composite raw materials and consumables.
- Maintain a reliable vendor base and develop alternate sources for critical materials.
- Evaluate vendors based on quality, cost, delivery and service performance.
- Coordinate with Quality/Engineering for vendor qualification and material approvals.

C. Purchase & Commercial Activities

- Float RFQs and obtain quotations from approved/new suppliers.
- Prepare comparative statements and commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit period, MOQ and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.

D. Production & Material Coordination

- Coordinate closely with Production, PPC, Stores, Quality, Engineering and Finance.
- Monitor material requirements against production plans.




- Track open POs and ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Highlight potential shortages and supply risks in advance.
- Coordinate for urgent/emergency procurement whenever required.

E. Cost Optimization

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and alternate sourcing.
- Monitor market prices of major composite raw materials.
- Negotiate annual/periodic rate contracts wherever applicable.
- Evaluate alternate materials/vendors without compromising quality or technical requirements.

F. Quality & Documentation

- Ensure procurement is made strictly as per approved specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality for incoming material inspection and rejection issues.
- Obtain and maintain required supplier documents such as COA/MTC/Test Certificates, wherever applicable.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, comparative statements, POs, vendor documents and delivery status.

G. ERP & MIS

- Create and maintain purchase orders and procurement records in ERP.
- Prepare purchase MIS, pending PO reports and vendor performance reports.
- Track price variance, delivery performance and procurement savings.

Required Technical Knowledge The candidate should preferably have working knowledge of:
- Composite raw materials and manufacturing processes
- FRP/GRP and polymer composites
- Resin, fiberglass, fillers, gelcoat and related consumables
- Material specifications and technical datasheets
- BOM and production requirements
- Vendor qualification and supplier development
- Basic understanding of composite material quality parameters
- Experience: 3–6 years in Purchase/Procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Composite / FRP / GRP / Fiberglass / Polymer / Automotive / Industrial manufacturing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
