Project Manager – Civil, Architectural & Interior Works

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Civil, Architectural & Interior Works to manage complete project execution from site commencement through final completion and handover.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in civil construction, all types of architectural works, interior fit-out, furnishing, finishing works, external development and MEP coordination.
The Project Manager will be responsible for overall planning, execution, coordination, quality control, cost control, manpower management, procurement, billing and timely completion of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from site mobilization through execution, snag rectification and final handover.
- Plan and supervise civil, structural, architectural, interior and finishing works.
- Manage RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting and related civil works.
- Manage all types of architectural and finishing works, including stone, marble, granite, tiles, cladding, façade, roofing, ceilings, glazing, aluminium, UPVC, doors, windows, architectural hardware, metal works, handrails, railings, staircases, pergolas, canopies, paving and external finishes.
- Manage complete interior fit-out and furnishing works, including carpentry, joinery, furniture, wardrobes, cabinets, wall panelling, partitions, veneer, laminate, acrylic, solid wood, glass, mirrors and decorative metal works.
- Coordinate Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV,
CCTV, Access Control, Automation, Lighting and other MEP services.
- Review architectural, structural, interior and MEP drawings before execution.
- Coordinate shop drawings, material submissions, samples, mock-ups and approvals.
- Prepare and monitor project schedules, daily/weekly targets and manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, engineers, designers, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
- Manage supervisors, engineers, civil workers, carpenters and other site teams.
- Monitor procurement and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure required quality and workmanship standards.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, technical issues and site conflicts and arrange timely solutions.
- Verify BOQs, quantities, measurements and material consumption.
- Monitor additional works, variations and changes in project scope.
- Prepare/verify client bills, subcontractor bills and vendor bills.
- Monitor project costs, material wastage and overall project expenditure.
- Maintain daily progress reports, material records, inspection records and other project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, housekeeping and work discipline.
- Coordinate snagging, rectification, testing,
commissioning and final project handover.
Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech / BE / Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant construction qualification preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in civil construction, architectural works and interior fit-out project execution.
- Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, interior and finishing works.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, interior and MEP drawings.
- Good knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, billing, project scheduling, procurement and cost control.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project and MS Office preferred.
- Strong leadership, site coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage contractors, vendors, supervisors and site manpower.
- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations as required.
Language & Communication
- English – Preferred
- Hindi – Preferred
- Candidate should be able to communicate effectively in both English and Hindi.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, supervisors and site workers is important.
Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, corporate offices, retail spaces, premium residences and high-end architectural/interior projects will be preferred.
