The Project Manager will be single-point owner of the Dahej project from LOI to handover delivering all six packages within the 90-day programme, to the specified quality and safety standards, while managing client, architect, consultant and sub-contractor interfaces on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the 90-day master programme: drive drawing approvals (MEP / SLD) at Day 0, sequence Civil, Interior, Electrical, HVAC and Fire Fighting works, and track daily progress against plan.
- Plan and mobilise manpower to a peak of 250–300 workmen across trades; manage sub-contractor onboarding, work fronts and productivity.
- Coordinate daily with the client’s project head, architect and MEP consultant; lead site review meetings and issue minutes and action logs.
- Manage material planning and procurement calls with Head Office (Vadodara) so that long-lead items (VRV units, LT panels, fire-fighting equipment, furniture) arrive per schedule.
- Control quality: method statements,
inspection and test plans, snag lists, and handover documentation for each package.
- Ensure EHS compliance, permit-to-work systems and statutory requirements on a pharmaceutical-industry site.
- Prepare measurement sheets, RA bills, variation / extra-item claims and reconciliation with the client and sub-contractors.
- Report weekly to SMK partners on progress, cost, risks and recovery plans; flag delays early with mitigation.
- Lead and mentor the site team (Site Engineers, Supervisors, MEP coordinators, Safety Officer).
Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on experience with multi-trade coordination – civil finishes, false ceilings, modular furniture, LT electrical, VRV/ducted HVAC, fire fighting and fire alarm systems.Role & responsibilities
