Limited is the parent/group company, all recruitment, employment, payroll, and related HR processes for this role will be managed by Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited. /n About the Role /n We are looking for an experienced Rolling Mill Manager to lead the overall mechanical project execution and commissioning activities for a Bar Cum Wire Rod Mill. /n The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rolling mill projects, mechanical erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution, with strong leadership and coordination skills. /n Key Responsibilities /n /n

- Lead and manage the overall mechanical execution of the Bar & Wire Rod Mill project.

/n

- Oversee mechanical erection, installation, alignment, testing, trial runs, and commissioning of rolling mill equipment.

/n

- Ensure project execution is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per required quality standards.

/n

- Manage and supervise engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site execution teams.

/n

- Coordinate with equipment suppliers, technology providers, contractors, consultants, and internal departments.

/n

- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth execution.

/n

- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, equipment layouts, and erection methodologies.

/n

- Identify technical and site-related issues and ensure timely resolution.





/n

- Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Production, Quality, and other functions for integrated project execution.

/n

- Lead pre-commissioning, cold trials, hot trials, commissioning, performance trials, and project handover.

/n

- Ensure proper installation, alignment, lubrication, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, utilities, and mechanical equipment readiness.

/n

- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project requirements.

/n

- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, inspection records, commissioning records, and equipment handover documents.

/n

- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular updates to senior management.

/n

- Drive continuous improvement in execution methods, equipment reliability, safety, and operational readiness.

/n /n Required Qualifications & Experience /n /n

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.

/n

- 10+ years of relevant experience in steel plant / rolling mill / heavy industry project execution.

/n

- Proven experience in Bar Mill, Wire Rod Mill, or Rolling Mill projects.

/n

- Solid hands-on experience in mechanical erection, installation, alignment, testing, commissioning, and plant start-up.

/n

- Experience managing contractors, vendors, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.

/n

- Strong understanding of project planning, execution, quality control, and HSE requirements.

/n

- Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

/n
