Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage PE pipeline laying and LMC works for City Gas Distribution / gas pipeline infrastructure projects.

The candidate will be responsible for overall project execution, planning, site coordination, quality, safety, manpower management, and timely completion of assigned works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end execution of PE pipeline laying and associated LMC works.
- Plan and monitor project activities, schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Supervise PE pipeline laying, trenching, jointing/fusion, testing, reinstatement, and related activities.
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, contractors, utility agencies, and local authorities.
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress against project targets and take corrective action wherever required.
- Ensure proper documentation of work progress, measurements, DPR/WPR, and project records.
- Monitor material consumption and ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE, QA/QC, and statutory requirements.
- Identify site issues, resolve technical/execution constraints, and escalate critical matters appropriately.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning,



and handover activities.
- Review subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned work fronts.
- Prepare and review project progress reports, schedules, and MIS.
- Maintain effective cost and productivity control throughout project execution.
- Ensure timely closure of client observations, punch points, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1–15 years of relevant experience in PE pipeline laying, City Gas Distribution (CGD), LMC, or gas pipeline projects.
- Strong knowledge of PE pipe laying, electrofusion/butt fusion, trenching, testing, reinstatement, and associated civil works.
- Experience in managing multiple work fronts and subcontractor teams.
- Good understanding of project planning, execution, billing, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.
- Robust leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
- Ability to work at project sites and manage execution under challenging field conditions.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in CGD projects, PE network laying, MDPE pipeline works, service connections, meter installation, road restoration, and LMC activities will be preferred.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
