Project Manager

Department Project Management Office (PMO) / Delivery

Reports To Delivery Manager / Head of Delivery

Experience 3+ years in project management (services / consulting environment)

Location Remote (occasional travel for client or team offsites, if required)

Employment Type Full-time

Shift Aligned to client time zones flexibility for European / North

American overlap where required

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Project Managers set the standard for how delivery runs they own the plan, run the governance, protect the margin, and make sure the client sees measurable return on every rupee they spend with us.

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive Project Manager who can independently run

4–5 concurrent client projects end to end. This is a hands-on delivery role: you will run the sprint ceremonies, own the RAID log, chase the blocker, build the dashboard, and then present the delivery story to a client stakeholder in the same day.

The person who succeeds here brings structure to ambiguity, communicates in facts rather than adjectives, and escalates early with a proposed solution attached.

1. Project Mobilisation &

- Onboarding

Take overall responsibility for planning, coordination, execution, and completion of new client onboarding in line with the standard onboarding playbook — delivered within the agreed timetable and budget.

Prepare and maintain the onboarding plan, project plan, milestone schedule, resource plan, and RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

Run project kick-off and mobilise extended teams, including internal squads, consultants, and third-party vendors.

Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and — where applicable — technical specifications, involving all relevant stakeholders and confirming technical feasibility before commitment.

Establish clear entry/exit criteria, acceptance criteria, and a RACI matrix (Responsible,

Accountable, Consulted, Informed) so ownership is unambiguous from day one.

- Service Delivery &

- Day-to-Day Operations

Lead day-to-day delivery of contracted services across 4–5 accounts, ensuring quality,

productivity, and continuity across distributed teams.

Ensure every project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure proper execution.

Manage the testing and acceptance regime — including phased and final acceptance — and align milestone sign-offs to the agreed performance-based payment plan.

Manage ticket queues and support operations: incident and request management, triage,

prioritisation, SLA tracking, and closure.

Track project performance against short-term and long-term goals, and adjust constraints based on financial and delivery analysis.

- Daily &

- Weekly Milestone Targets

Break every project plan down into daily and weekly milestones with named owners, due dates, and a clear definition of "done" — no task carried without a date against it.

Set and communicate daily delivery targets for each squad at stand-up; confirm at end of day what moved, what slipped, and what is at risk for tomorrow.

Own weekly milestone achievement across all 4–5 projects: track planned vs. actual completion, calculate slippage, and publish a weekly milestone scorecard to Delivery leadership.

Maintain a target of 90% weekly milestone adherence per project; any milestone missed must carry a documented reason, recovery plan, and revised date within 24 hours.

Run a short daily blocker review — anything blocking a daily target for more than one working day is escalated the same day, not held to the weekly review.

Reconcile daily task closure and weekly milestone burn against sprint burndown so the sprint,

the plan, and the client commitment never drift apart.

Chase timesheet and effort logging daily so weekly effort-vs-plan variance is accurate before it reaches Finance or the client.

Publish a weekly delivery summary every Friday per account: milestones achieved,

milestones missed with cause, upcoming week's targets, open risks, and open blockers.

Convert weekly misses into corrective action in the next planning cycle — repeated slippage on the same workstream is treated as a structural problem, not a scheduling one.

- Agile &

- Scrum Execution

Run all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

Own and groom the product/project backlog alongside the Product Owner and client stakeholders.

Break epics into user stories with transparent acceptance criteria; ensure stories are estimated and sprint-ready before planning.

Track and act on velocity, burndown/burnup, cycle time, throughput, and defect trends

— forecast from data, not optimism.

Apply the right framework per engagement: Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, Waterfall, or a hybrid model, as the contract and client maturity demand.

Continuously improve workflow efficiency; ensure retrospective actions are actually implemented, not just recorded.

- Tooling, Dashboards &

- Reporting

Configure and administer Azure DevOps and Jira — boards, workflows, custom fields, epics/

features/stories, sprints, iterations, and release plans.

Build and maintain dashboards for sprint progress, delivery health, defect trends, SLA adherence, resource utilisation, and risk exposure — for both team-level and executive audiences.

Produce weekly status reports (WSR), MIS reports for senior management to support strategic decisions, governance decks, and monthly delivery reviews.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, communication plans, and a live decision/action log.

Working knowledge expected across: Confluence, ServiceNow, MS Project, MS Visio, Excel

(advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards), PowerPoint, and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI.

Stay current on new Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-assisted productivity tooling to keep reporting sharp and effort low.

- Governance, Reporting &

- Stakeholder Management

Operate the engagement governance model: chair operational performance meetings, support periodic governance committee reviews, and contribute to annual strategic reviews.

Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and minutes within agreed timelines.

Manage escalations through defined governance tiers — with a documented owner, action,

and target date for every open item.

Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for client stakeholders on assigned accounts.

Present oral and written reports covering plans, problems, and resolutions to the appropriate level of management.

Manage expectations proactively: flag anything that may affect timely completion the moment it is known, never at the review.

- Risk, Change &

- Blocker Management

Proactively identify, document, and communicate risks, and propose mitigation approaches before they become issues.

Identify roadblocks early — scope creep, technical dependencies, resource constraints, thirdparty delays — and drive them to resolution.

Run a disciplined blocker/impediment process: log it, assign it, escalate it, close it within agreed timelines.

Manage all changes to scope, schedule, and cost through a formal change-control process —

impact assessment, client approval, re-baselining.

Convert genuine scope expansion into commercial opportunity rather than absorbing it silently.

- Commercial &

- Resource Management

Manage project budget and resource allocation; monitor costs and track expenses to protect delivery margin.

Support Work Orders, SOWs, and Change Requests — including scope, volumes, charges,

and applicable service levels.

Communicate resource requirements and availability ahead of need, not at the point of crisis.

Track and follow up on client invoices and receivables in coordination with Finance.

Ensure sufficient, competent staffing and team continuity across extended teams and consultants.

- Quality, Security &

- Compliance

Ensure final deliverables meet both the agreed brief and the technical requirements.

Ensure delivery complies with contractual security requirements, data processing obligations,

supplier code of conduct, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Maintain audit-ready project documentation at all times.

- People &

- Continuous Improvement

Mentor team members on Agile practice, delivery hygiene, and stakeholder communication.

Support team building, resourcing, and retention within a distributed working model.

Continuously identify ways to improve quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of delivery in line with engagement improvement commitments.
