About us
We are a women-led social enterprise that helps women move safely and earn independently, through skilling, mobility enablement and livelihood linkages. Our belief is easy: when a woman moves freely, she unlocks her full potential.
We run a network of women trainers across 19 cities. We work with partners including Urban Company, Swiggy, Yes Madam and L&T; Finance, training their women partners and riders so they can earn more, work more safely and travel further. We are a for-profit company, we are profitable, and we have never raised institutional capital.
Nobody else in India does this. That means there is no playbook to inherit, and most of what we do we are working out as we go.
The opportunity
What you will own
- Getting women to the starting line: Lead generation through online campaigns with our marketing team, and offline through community networks, catchment area work, partner referrals and, where needed, a field mobilisation network you build yourself.
- Qualifying and counselling: Delivery work is not a conventional choice for most of these women or their families. Building a counselling process that gets a woman and her household to yes is part of the job, not a soft edge to it.
- Training through to earning: Coordinating training delivery, then working with EV partners and dealers to get riders the best rental or purchase terms, onboarding them onto the partner app, and tracking whether they are still riding sixty days later.
- The partner relationship: You will be the person our clients/ partners deal with. That means being useful enough to their operation that they co-create with you rather than issue instructions. The pilots that fail are the ones where the partner's point of contact was never genuinely invested.
- The wider ecosystem: Vehicle dealers, OEMs, EV rental players, lending partners. New partnerships often have to be built from scratch for a single city to work.
The role
You own a partner project end to end.
This is not account management, and it is not project coordination. You hold the relationship with the partner, you run the operation on the ground, and you carry the outcome we committed to.
Projects sit in one of two phases. The work, and the measures of success, are materially different in each.
Phase 1:
Pilot projects A partner commits to a defined cohort in a single city before committing to scale. There is no established process. You build the funnel, identify what breaks, and produce a result strong enough to justify expansion.
What you own
- Lead generation, online with our marketing team and offline through communities, catchment areas and partner networks
- Qualification and counselling, for the woman and frequently for her family, since this is rarely a conventional choice in her household
- Training delivery, through to completion
- Commercial arrangements with vehicle dealers, OEMs, EV rental providers and lending partners, so that a vehicle is genuinely within reach
- The partner relationship, including securing and sustaining the point of contact's investment in the project
- A small field team of recruiters and tele-callers, as volume requires
How success is measured: Pilot Success: Success will be measured through clear, outcome-focused indicators. Training completion will target 75% or above, while vehicle adoption will target 60% or above. Proof of demand will be demonstrated through new partner sign-ups and retention generated by the pilot. Revenue will be measured through new clients, new revenue secured and existing revenue protected. Delivery will be measured by completion within agreed timelines.
What the role demands in this phase: A consultative approach that earns you a seat at the table with the partner and the wider ecosystem. High agency. Clear ownership of the outcome. A willingness to go beyond the defined scope where that is what makes the project work.
Phase 2: Scale The partner has committed. The work becomes replication across cities, each with its own realities, and building the local teams those cities require.
What you own
- Replicating the pilot model in new cities, frequently starting from nothing
- Monitoring and protecting performance in established markets
- Hiring and building local teams
- The partner relationship as it deepens across geographies
How success is measured: Building on the pilot, success will be measured through revenue protection, ensuring existing clients and revenue are safeguarded; revenue growth, through new revenue generated from existing clients; market expansion, through cities successfully launched and stabilised; and team performance, through building strong local teams that are operational and performing effectively.
What the role demands in this phase: Accountability for a number you cannot miss, replication discipline, and the same high agency the pilot required, applied across a wider footprint.
What we are looking for
Experience
- 3 to 5 years in gig platform operations, last-mile logistics, field workforce operations, or partner and supply operations
- Direct experience running rider, driver or service partner supply is the closest adjacency
- Demonstrable field experience. Catchment areas, field teams and local networks should be familiar territory
Capability
- You have operated without an established process and built one, rather than waiting for a system to be handed to you
- You make decisions and own the consequences, rather than escalating and waiting
- You are credible with a platform partner's city or regional leadership, and useful enough that they build with you rather than instruct you
- You work comfortably with data. You can extract it, interpret it and act on it
- You communicate with precision
Disposition
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and with a start-up operating environment
- You set clear timelines and hold them, rather than committing to what cannot be delivered
- You believe that a woman's inability to ride is a constraint on everything else in her life
We hire women wherever we can. Our trainers are women, the majority of our team are women, and the people we train are women. What this role is not: This is field work in an unglamorous sector. Cities are unpredictable, plans change, and some pilots do not succeed. The role suits someone who wants the outcome to be visibly theirs. It will not suit someone who needs a settled process and a predictable week.
