Tharani Infra Private Limited is looking for an experienced Project Head to lead and manage multiple interior fit-out and construction projects across Chennai.

The role requires strong project execution capability, leadership, client management, planning, commercial awareness, and complete ownership of projects from kick-off to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead multiple interior fit-out and construction projects from project kick-off to final handover.

• Take complete ownership of project time, cost, quality, safety, and profitability .

- Prepare and review project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and work sequences.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and committed milestones.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, designers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, scope, and technical requirements before execution.
- Identify project risks, delays, design gaps, material issues, and commercial concerns in advance.
- Ensure timely release of drawings, approvals, materials, manpower, and subcontractors.
- Conduct project review meetings and drive closure of pending actions.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, QS, Billing, Costing, Procurement, Design, Accounts, and Site teams.
- Review project budgets, committed costs, variations, additional works, and cost deviations.
- Monitor client billing, certification status, subcontractor bills,



and commercial closure.
- Ensure additional and variation works are properly documented, approved, and billed.
- Control material wastage, labour productivity, subcontractor performance, and execution efficiency.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained through inspections, checklists, mock-ups, and snag closure.
- Ensure all sites follow required safety practices and project discipline.
- Resolve technical, commercial, and coordination issues without affecting project commitments.
- Maintain solid client relationships and professionally manage client expectations.
- Review weekly and monthly project performance with management.
- Develop Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and execution teams.
- Ensure proper project documentation including MOMs, RFIs, approvals, drawings, variations, progress reports, and handover documents.
- Drive timely project completion, final billing, snag closure, and project account closure.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

• 10–15+ years of experience in interior fit-out, commercial interiors, or construction project execution.





• Minimum 4–5 years in a senior project leadership role handling multiple projects.

- Strong experience in managing large-scale interior or commercial fit-out projects.
- Solid knowledge of civil works, partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, wall finishes, glazing, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
- Good understanding of BOQ, project costing, billing, variations, procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Solid planning, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and projects under demanding timelines.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Good knowledge of project scheduling, reporting, and project management systems.
- Experience in corporate offices, retail, hospitality, restaurants, automobile showrooms, or commercial projects will be an advantage.
