Drive Engineering activities for assigned Projects: Define and develop comprehensive Design, Validation and Compliance plan for complete tractor Systems. Final objective is to meet Product performance, cost, delivery and homologation targets. Lead Product Design Delivery: Oversee design and associated releases for entire tractor platform across Recent Platforms & its Upgrades to ensure trouble free products
Timely Product Failure Mode Closures: Lead root cause analysis & design modifications to address Field & Lab issues to improve customer value proposition and functional targets.
Inculcate Product Cost Targets in Design: Optimization of design to build frugally competitive products.
Cross-functional Alignment:
Conduct DFA, DFS and DFM to align and streamline all cascading functions.
Competition Benchmarking and Field Surveys: To enable right product specifications are embodied in design avoiding end phase changes in product.
Enforce Engineering Discipline: Ensure creation of Design Standards, DFMEAs, DVPs and Assembly/Installation drawings for efficient data keeping and project repository.
