Job Location - Vikhroli West

Experience - 10 plus years into Project Controls in EPC sector in Engineering with proficiency in tools like Microsoft project, Primavera (P6) client software and Primavera web.

International exposure into EMEA and APAC, North America will be preferred.

Role & responsibilities

1. Planning & Scheduling

- Develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules using tools such as e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) aligned with scope and contract requirements.
- Monitor schedule progress, identify deviations, and propose mitigation actions.
- Conduct schedule risk assessments and scenario analysis.
- Help setup non-technical project documents.

2. Cost Management & Forecasting

- Prepare and maintain project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
- Track committed and actual costs and analyse variances (cost overruns, underruns, trends).
- Support monthly cost reporting and cashflow planning.
- Ensure alignment between schedule activities and cost breakdown structures.

3. Performance Measurement & Reporting

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for cost, schedule, and productivity.
- Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) and analyse CPI, SPI, and variance results.
- Provide clear, concise progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
- Support project reviews, gate meetings, and executive briefings.
- Monitor document issue dates when linked to LDs.

4. Risk & Change Management

- Support the identification and assessment of project risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.
- Track change requests, support impact evaluations, and maintain change logs.




- Integrate changes into schedules and cost forecasts

Tasks

- Participate in developing a Logic Network Schedule applying Project Scheduling Resource Software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Primavera) or equivalent and implement effective planning and progress measurement process, providing management with recommendations, and the tools, to aid decision making and reporting.
- Participate in the development of the project Work Breakdown Structure.
- Participate in critical path reviews, assessments, and mitigations once per month after schedule and progress status updates.
- Interface with Cost, Cash flow and Forecasting.
- Identify the schedule risks and re-baseline, if necessary.
- Participate in kick-offs and ongoing meetings on the projects to ensure common understanding of project controls requirements.
- Monitoring & Controlling of project budget & participating in project close-out activities. Help close out all committed cost in project that are no longer required.

Preferred candidate profile

Co-ordination and management of comprehensive Project Controls including basic and detail planning, performance measurement support and scheduling of the Project (including the development and production of detailed plans/schedules for FEED Design, Basic Design, Detail Design & Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Manufacture, Inspection, release, shipment, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning of the project through to successful completion using current planning techniques and tools).

Support management reporting and decision making.

Probability analysis for the project completion.

Help interface with all disciplines, subcontractors, and client representatives at a senior level regarding planning coordination and integration.
