Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Shift In charge Production with solid expertise in Assembly and Machine Shop operations. The candidate should have solid technical knowledge, documentation skills, and the ability to manage production activities, manpower, and shift operations efficiently to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage daily production activities in Assembly and Machine Shop.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per production planning and schedules.
- Handle shift management, ensuring smooth operations across all shifts.
- Perform manpower planning and allocation based on production requirements.
- Monitor machine utilization, productivity, and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and process compliance.
- Prepare and maintain all production-related documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance,



Stores, etc.).
- Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions on the shop floor.
- Ensure compliance with safety norms and company policies.

Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of machine shop processes (CNC, VMC, conventional machining).
- Hands-on experience in assembly operations.
- Expertise in production planning & control (PPC).
- Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and shifts.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing/engineering industry.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Kaizen practices.

Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
