Job Purpose The Production Application Engineer is responsible for converting customer requirements, drawings, and technical specifications into practical production solutions. The role involves coordination between Design, Production, Purchase, Quality, Stores, and Customers to ensure products are manufactured correctly, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities1. Production Engineering

- Study customer drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documents.
- Understand product/application requirements before production.
- Prepare and verify production-related documents.
- Provide technical support to the production team.
- Identify manufacturing difficulties and provide practical solutions.
- Improve production methods to reduce rejection, rework, and production time.

1. Application Engineering

- Understand customer application and technical requirements.
- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Review technical feasibility of customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the design team for modifications or improvements.
- Support preparation of technical offers and quotations when required.
- Provide technical clarification to customers and internal teams.

1. Drawing & BOM Coordination

- Review engineering drawings before releasing them for production.
- Verify dimensions, materials, specifications, and component details.
- Check BOM availability and coordinate with Purchase/Stores.
- Ensure the latest drawing/revision is used in production.
- Communicate drawing changes to the concerned departments.

1. Production Coordination





- Coordinate daily production activities with supervisors and operators.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules.
- Resolve technical issues occurring during manufacturing.
- Coordinate material availability with Stores and Purchase.
- Follow up on urgent and priority production orders.

1. Quality & Troubleshooting

- Support Quality Department in resolving technical issues.
- Analyze production defects, rejection, and rework.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure products meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Support inspection and testing activities.

1. Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Develop standard work instructions and process documentation.
- Support implementation of SOPs and process controls.
- Improve material utilization and reduce wastage.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

1. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain production engineering records.
- Prepare daily/weekly production-related reports.
- Maintain revision records for drawings and BOMs.
- Record technical problems and corrective actions.
- Maintain application and product-related technical data.

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in manufacturing/production engineering preferred.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of BOM and production processes.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable MS Excel and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.

Overall Responsibility To ensure that customer requirements are technically feasible, properly translated into production requirements, and manufactured with the required quality, cost, and delivery performance. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
