Key Roles &

- Responsibilities

- Production Planning

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and shipment requirements.

- Allocate styles/orders to cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and other production sections.

- Ensure availability of fabric, trims, accessories, labels, and packing materials.

- Production Monitoring

- Monitor production against planned quantities and delivery schedules.

- Track hourly/daily output and identify bottlenecks.

- Take corrective action when production falls behind schedule.

- Coordinate between cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, stores, and dispatch.

- Manpower Management

- Plan manpower requirements according to production load.

- Allocate operators and helpers efficiently.

- Monitor absenteeism, overtime, productivity, and operator performance.

- Train and develop supervisors and production staff.

- Quality Control

- Ensure products meet customer specifications and approved samples.

- Work closely with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.

- Identify root causes of quality problems and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain compliance with buyer quality standards.

- Productivity Improvement

- Set production targets for each section and operation.

- Improve line balancing and machine utilization.

- Implement methods to reduce idle time, waiting time, rework,



and material wastage.

- Introduce lean manufacturing and continuous-improvement practices.

- Cost Control

- Control production costs, overtime, wastage, and consumable usage.

- Monitor fabric and accessory consumption.

- Improve labor and machine efficiency.

- Reduce rejection and reprocessing costs.

- Machine &
- Maintenance Coordination

- Ensure machines are available and properly utilized.

- Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.

- Minimize machine downtime.

- Inventory &

- Material Control

- Coordinate with stores and PPC to ensure materials reach production on time.

- Monitor WIP and avoid excess or shortage of materials.

- Ensure proper handling and identification of fabrics and finished goods.

- Order &

- Shipment Management

- Monitor each order from cutting through packing.

- Ensure production is completed according to shipment deadlines.

- Highlight potential delays to management and propose recovery plans.

- Compliance &

- Safety

- Ensure workers follow factory safety procedures.

- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards.

- Support buyer audits, social-compliance requirements, and factory policies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
