Department: Factory Production & Technical OperationsABOUT PMI PMI – Prime Metal Industry is a growing Hyderabad-based company specializing in aluminium and uPVC doors and windows, architectural glass, curtain walls, façades, glazing, ACP works, canopies, partitions and related architectural metal solutions.We are looking for an experienced, practical and responsible Production & Technical Manager who can independently manage our complete factory production and provide technical support for ongoing projects.ROLE SUMMARYThe selected candidate will be responsible for managing the entire production process—from site measurements, shop drawings and cutting lists to fabrication, quality control, dispatch and installation coordination.We require a hands-on technical professional who can guide the factory team, solve site-related technical issues, control wastage and ensure that projects are completed according to approved drawings, specifications and deadlines.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical and Design:

- Prepare and verify shop drawings, fabrication drawings and cutting lists.
- Study architectural drawings, project specifications and approved system details.
- Prepare glass sizes, aluminium profile requirements, hardware schedules, BOQs and material take-offs.
- Review site measurements before releasing materials for production.
- Optimize cutting plans to minimize aluminium, glass and accessory wastage.
- Select suitable aluminium profiles, glass specifications, hardware and fabrication methods.
- Maintain approved drawings, revisions, cutting lists and technical records.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants,



contractors and clients on technical matters.

Factory and Production Management:
- Manage the complete aluminium and uPVC fabrication factory.
- Prepare daily, weekly and project-wise production plans.
- Allocate work to fabricators, machine operators, helpers and supervisors.
- Monitor cutting, routing, drilling, crimping, assembly, glazing, sealing and packing.
- Ensure correct use and maintenance of fabrication machinery and tools.
- Check the availability of aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, gaskets, sealants and consumables.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of required materials.
- Control material consumption, wastage, rework and production costs.
- Maintain proper identification and storage of project materials.
- Ensure that finished products are safely packed and dispatched according to the site schedule.
- Submit daily production and manpower reports to management.

Site and Project Coordination:
- Visit project sites whenever technical assistance is required.
- Verify site openings, levels, dimensions and installation conditions.
- Guide installation teams regarding alignment, fixing, waterproofing, sealing and finishing.
- Resolve technical and installation problems at the site.
- Coordinate production priorities according to project schedules.
- Attend technical meetings with clients, architects, consultants and contractors.
- Support project handover,

- Monitor installation quality and ensure timely completion.

Team and Factory Administration:
- Lead, train and supervise factory and technical staff.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, discipline and safety.
- Assess manpower requirements according to production workload.
- Train workers in correct fabrication methods and quality standards.
- Ensure safe working practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain factory housekeeping and machinery-maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with administration, accounts, stores, procurement and project teams.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 8 years of practical experience in aluminium doors, windows, glazing and façade production.
- Previous experience managing a fabrication factory or production team.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium profiles, hardware, glass, gaskets, sealants and fabrication accessories.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, cutting lists, BOQs and fabrication details.
- Knowledge of aluminium sliding and openable systems, curtain walls, structural glazing and façade works.
- Ability to read architectural, structural and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, manpower management and quality control.
- Ability to independently identify and solve factory and site problems.
- Willingness to work full time in Hyderabad and visit project sites when required.
