Role Overview Supervise daily wire and cable manufacturing operations to ensure target production, maintain quality standards, and minimize downtime and wastage.
Role & responsibilities
- Oversee core processes: Extrusion, Drawing, Bunching, Armouring, and Laying-up.
- Maintain process parameters and enforce strict quality control at every stage.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Track material usage, reduce waste, and keep shift/production records.
- Support trial runs, current product testing, and continuous process improvements.
- Enforce workplace safety and align with the Production Manager on daily goals.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong technical grasp of cable manufacturing and machinery.
- Hands-on problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with plant safety norms and quality documentation.
