Product Manager to drive the AI product portfolio through the full lifecycle — from prioritised plan to build, release, launch and adoption. Working alongside the Practice Head (Product Owner), who owns product features, requirements, industry benchmarking, the business case and go-to-market engagement, the Product Manager holds the product roadmap and prioritisation, translating the Practice Head's features and requirements into a sequenced, deliverable plan. The role engages clients directly — through demonstrations and requirement-gathering, and into product support once each product is live in the client environment — drawing on Expleo's specialist Cyber Security, Cloud, Data, DevOps and Dev / QA practices throughout.
Across delivery, the Product Manager ensures the Dev / QA team completes the solution design (high- and low-level design) ahead of build, coordinates the development, QA and DevOps teams through the build, and owns release and version governance across products and their underlying models. Security is embedded by design and owned end-to-end by the Cyber Security practice: the Product Manager gates security, compliance and responsible-AI requirements into the definition of done and acts on each product's security assessment report before release
- Roadmap & Prioritisation
- Own the AI portfolio roadmap and prioritisation, sequencing delivery and articulating trade-offs and rationale transparently to stakeholders.
- Translate the product features and requirements owned by the Practice Head (Product Owner) into a prioritised, deliverable plan.
- Rationalise the existing roadmap toward the highest-value outcomes across the portfolio.
Delivery Coordination
- Ensure the Dev / QA team completes the solution design (high-level and low-level design) ahead of build, with input from the Cloud, Data, Cyber Security and DevOps practices.
- Partner closely with the development, QA and DevOps teams and the Cyber Security, Cloud and Data practices throughout delivery, maintaining disciplined scope control against the agreed requirements.
Security, Compliance & Responsible AI
- Ensure security, compliance and responsible-AI requirements are captured, prioritised and gated as part of the definition of done — with all security owned by the Cyber Security practice, supported by the DevOps and Data practices.
- Obtain the security assessment report from the Cyber Security practice for each product, review the findings, and ensure they are prioritised and remediated before release.
Release & Version Governance
- Establish a predictable release cadence and consistent versioning across the portfolio — covering both products and their underlying models — ensuring full traceability of what changed and when.
Governance & AI Management System (ISO/IEC 42001)
- Adhere to and enforce Expleo's ISO/IEC 42001 (AI Management System) process for each product, working with the process team to embed it across the product lifecycle.
- Ensure every product complies with the ISO/IEC 42001 standard and maintains its certification, in line with Expleo's governance requirements.
- Support the internal ISO/IEC 42001 audit conducted for each Expleo product — providing product evidence, coordinating audit responses, and driving identified findings to closure.
- Support external certification and surveillance audits with the artefacts and evidence required to achieve and maintain certification.
Production Roll-out & Adoption
- Support the production roll-out of each AI product — coordinating deployment readiness, go-live and post-go-live stabilisation with the delivery, operations and Cloud practice teams, aligned to the go-to-market plan led by the Practice Head.
- Own post-launch adoption and revenue KPIs, monitoring performance and initiating corrective action where required.
Client Engagement & Product Support
- Participate in client demonstrations and steering discussions, understanding client needs and relaying them to the Practice Head (Product Owner) for requirement definition.
- Liaise with the development, QA and DevOps teams and the Cyber Security, Cloud and Data practices to translate the agreed requirements into delivery.
- Once the product is delivered into the client environment, initiate and coordinate ongoing product support.
Portfolio Health & Lifecycle Decisions
- Review product health on a quarterly basis and provide data-driven invest, maintain or retire recommendations to the Practice Head, including managed product sunset where appropriate.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 12 years' experience in product management roles for B2B digital products, including at least one product taken through a full lifecycle stage transition.
