Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with Shipping Lines, Airlines, Network partners, NVOCCs, and other logistics partners.
- Procure competitive Ocean Freight and Air Freight rates across import and export trade lanes.
- Negotiate rates, capacity and commercial terms with suppliers/ vendors.
- Support Sales, Account Management and Operations teams with timely procurement solutions.
- Manage and monitor carrier/network partners performance.
- Support rate management and pricing updates on the SILQ platform.
- Track market trends, freight rates, capacity and carrier developments.
- Identify and develop new strategic carrier and network partnerships.
- Support SILQ's growth across key import and export markets especially India and USA
Looking for
- 3–5 years of experience in Ocean/Air Freight Procurement.
- Experience in Freight Forwarding, Shipping Lines, NVOCC or Logistics.
- Strong knowledge of freight rates, carriers, trade lanes, and procurement.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced and collaborative environment.
