PPC Engineer

Summary

Manages day-to-day customer and supplier scheduling activities to ensure compliance to schedules.Ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Interfaces and builds relationships with trading partners.Maintains PFEP inventory target levels to provide a flow of raw materials and components from the supply chain to the manufacturing facility.Manages capacity constraints. Partner with Sales and Purchasing to address capacity constraint issues.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure 100% adherence to Production targets as per plan

- Create production plan based on the Sales orders / forecast
- Prepare Monthly Loading Plan for Forming Machines & Give Machine Loading Plan on Daily basis.
- Raw Material & Consumable Requirement to purchase Department.
- Identify bottleneck / critical machines in the process and try to optimum utilization of the same.
- Root cause analysis for non-achievement of production plans.
- Follow up with Tool room to ensure on time availability of tools & Spares.

Inventory Management of Raw Material & WIP

- Ensure just in time procurement of consumables.
- Maintaining WIP & stock register to Control & have visibility of the same.
- Coordination between marketing and production team.

Optimum utilization of resources

- Optimum utilization of man, material, methods & machines

Develop & sustain proper systems and management practices

- Improvement of the processes and systems for Production Planning
- Data Analysis, Initiating and implementing systems,



processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall production.
- Development of
- Monitor & improve the performance of the transportation system.
- Implementation of QMS, SH&E; & EMS systems.
- Ensure all Health & Safety norms are daily adhered.

Manage and build team

- Develop and review training plans.
- Ensure goal setting and performance appraisals for all the team members.
- Exercise reward and punishment commensurate with performance.
- Career planning for key individuals and ensure development.
- Promote a culture of merit and fair treatment.
- Periodic meetings and communication with employees. Maintain cordial Employee / industrial Relations.

Required Skills and Education

Graduate in any discipline

5-7 Years of Experience in PPC in Automobile & Heavy Machinery Industry.

Well acquainted with ERP systems
