Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Hotel Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems throughout the hotel. The plumber will ensure continuous and safe operation of water supply, drainage, sanitary, hot water, and related plumbing equipment while responding promptly to guest and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect, maintain, and repair hotel plumbing systems, fixtures, pipelines, valves, pumps, and drainage systems.
- Attend to plumbing complaints in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, restaurants, laundry, and back-of-house areas.
- Repair leaking taps, pipes, toilets, showers, flush valves, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
- Monitor hot and cold water supply systems and identify leaks, blockages, pressure problems, and other faults.
- Maintain drainage and sewage systems and transparent blockages when required.
- Assist with installation and modification of plumbing systems during renovation or maintenance projects.
- Respond quickly to plumbing emergencies to minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations.
- Maintain proper records of repairs, maintenance work, spare parts, and equipment used.
- Follow hotel safety procedures, hygiene standards, and local plumbing regulations.
- Coordinate with the Engineering and other hotel departments when carrying out maintenance work.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized.




- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or a related technical qualification preferred.
- Previous experience as a plumber, preferably in a hotel, resort, hospital, commercial building, or similar property.
- Good knowledge of water supply, drainage, sanitary, and hot-water systems.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in different areas of the hotel.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies when required.
