Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PLC Programmer role based in the Pune Division. The PLC Programmer will design, develop, and implement PLC programs for manual and robotic weld lines, assembly fixtures, and material handling systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and testing PLC logic, integrating sensors and actuators, troubleshooting control systems, and optimizing programs for safety, efficiency, and cycle time. The role involves collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and robotics engineers, supporting commissioning activities at customer sites, and preparing technical documentation and change logs. The PLC Programmer will also provide on-site support for system upgrades, diagnostics,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Solid PLC programming skills (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar), including ladder logic and function block programming.
- Experience with industrial automation systems, including robotic weld lines, welding controllers, sensors, and material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical control panels, wiring diagrams, and basic industrial safety standards related to automation and welding lines.
- Proficiency in system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting control systems during installation, commissioning, and production support.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Good documentation skills for preparing program backups, change records, operating manuals, and user guides.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and uptime.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in automotive automation or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Pune Division and support occasional travel to customer locations for commissioning and service.
