Role & responsibilities

- Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

- Set up, start, adjust, and shut down machines as per production requirements and standard operating procedures.

- Follow production schedules and achieve daily and shift-wise production targets.

- Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.

- Record production data, quality checks, downtime details, and shift reports accurately.

- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, and process deviations to supervisors.

- Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage and labeling.

- Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements, including the use of appropriate PPE.

- Maintain housekeeping standards and ensure the work area remains clean and organized.

- Perform basic preventive maintenance activities and support maintenance teams during equipment servicing and breakdowns.

- Work collaboratively with production, quality, maintenance,



and warehouse teams to achieve operational goals.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support training activities when required.

Preferred candidate profile

- ITI/Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Enggg or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline.

- Experience in manufacturing, production, processing, packaging, or industrial operations preferred.

- Basic knowledge of machine operation, production processes, and quality control practices.

- Familiarity with safety standards and industrial best practices.

- Ability to read and understand production instructions, work orders, and operating procedures.

- Basic computer skills and experience in production data entry or ERP systems will be an advantage.

- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Team player with positive communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
