Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Engineer to manage end-to-end production planning, material control, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between procurement, design, and shop floor operations to ensure seamless manufacturing execution, optimal inventory levels, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material & Inventory Management

- Raise and track Material Purchase Requisitions (PR) and coordinate regularly with the Buyer to ensure timely material availability.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct routine inventory checks, and implement dilution strategies to optimize stock and reduce holding costs.
- Ensure smooth material feeding to the shop floor, manage GRIN (Goods Receipt Inspection Note) clearances, and handle positive recall procedures when required.

2. Job Scheduling, Tracking & Monitoring

- Develop, update,



and monitor comprehensive job schedules using project management tools such as Primavera and MS Project.
- Track project milestones, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions to keep production on track.
- Assist in the estimation of equipment requirements for upcoming projects.

3. Subcontracting & Vendor Activities

- Manage vendor-out activities (subcontracting processes), ensuring quality standards and delivery timelines are strictly met (currently under the production scope).

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Collaborate closely with the Design department to align drawings, specifications, and BOMs with production plans.
- Coordinate logistics and documentation for import and export items, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
