Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to manage placement activities for candidates trained under DDU-GKY 2.0 and various Skill Development Programs.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with employers, identifying suitable job opportunities, organizing recruitment drives and interviews, and ensuring successful placement of trained candidates in relevant industries and job roles.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the skill development and placement ecosystem, excellent employer networking skills, and a proven ability to achieve placement targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end placement activities for candidates trained under DDU-GKY 2.0 and Skill Development Projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, employers, HR departments, recruiters and industry partners.
- Identify suitable employment opportunities based on candidates' skills, qualifications, training and job profiles.
- Generate new employer tie-ups and placement opportunities across relevant industries.
- Collect and understand employer manpower requirements and coordinate recruitment accordingly.
- Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, walk-in interviews, campus interviews and employer selection processes.
- Coordinate candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling, documentation and joining formalities.
- Ensure maximum conversion of trained candidates into successful placements and joining.
- Maintain regular communication with placed candidates and employers for joining and retention tracking.
- Track placement data, joining status,



salary details, employer details and candidate retention.
- Prepare MIS reports, placement reports and project-related documentation within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with Training Centre, Mobilization, MIS and Project teams to achieve overall project placement targets.
- Ensure placement activities are aligned with DDU-GKY and applicable Skill Development Project guidelines/SOPs.
- Conduct regular market research to identify new employment sectors, job roles and salary opportunities.
- Build a strong employer database and continuously expand the placement network.
- Support the organization in achieving project-wise placement, joining and retention targets.
- Handle employer and candidate grievances related to the placement process.

Education Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is required.

MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, Business Development or a related field will be an added advantage.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience, skills and project requirements.

Performance-based incentives may be provided for achieving placement and employer engagement targets.
