Job Summary The Physician Assistant supports doctors in providing patient care, clinical documentation, coordination of investigations, and day-to-day clinical activities. The role involves assisting physicians during consultations, monitoring patients, maintaining medical records, and coordinating with nursing and other hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist doctors during OPD consultations, ward rounds, emergency care, and procedures.
- Take and record patient history, vital signs, and clinical information.
- Assist doctors in preliminary patient assessment and preparation for consultation.
- Monitor patients and promptly report any changes in their condition to the concerned doctor.
- Assist in performing minor clinical procedures as directed by the doctor.
- Coordinate and follow up on laboratory, radiology, and other investigations.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assist doctors with discharge summaries, case sheets, referral notes, and other documentation.
- Coordinate with nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and other departments for patient care.
- Provide appropriate patient instructions as directed by the treating doctor.
- Ensure proper follow-up of investigations, treatment plans, and appointments.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures.




- Assist in emergency situations and provide immediate support to the medical team.
- Maintain proper infection-control and patient-safety practices.
- Perform any other clinical or administrative duties assigned by the reporting doctor or hospital management.

Qualification
- B.Sc. Physician Assistant / Bachelor of Physician Assistant or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Skills Required
- Positive clinical and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of patient assessment and medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Good documentation and computer skills.
- Ability to handle emergency and high-pressure situations.
- Patient-friendly and professional attitude.

Experience 0–2 years of relevant hospital experience preferred. Freshers with suitable qualifications may also be considered.

Working Conditions

- Hospital-based clinical role.
- May involve rotational shifts, including emergency/ward duties as per hospital requirements.
- Must maintain professional conduct and patient confidentiality at all times.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹33,743.81 per month
