About The Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated PHP Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications that meet client specifications and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, project managers, and quality assurance, to deliver seamless and secure digital solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience of at least 3 years in PHP development is essential. Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and frameworks such as CodeIgniter is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of MVC architecture, object-oriented programming, and RESTful API development.

Experience working with MySQL, including complex queries, database design, and optimization, is mandatory.



Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap is preferred. Additionally, proficiency with version control tools like Git, and knowledge of security best practices for web applications, are highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a PHP Developer at Acufore India Private Limited, your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP. You will be tasked with building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality. Developing backend modules following MVC architecture with CodeIgniter, writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and managing database structures will be key aspects of your role.

Ensuring application security by implementing authentication, authorization, session management, and role-based access control is critical. You will identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and bugs to ensure a smooth user experience.

Integration of external services such as payment gateways, email, and SMS services will be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration and feature development is essential. Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code will be expected,



along with performing debugging, unit testing, and troubleshooting in production environments.

You will utilize Git for source code management, adhering to best practices for branching and code reviews. Participating in requirement analysis, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities will be integral to your role. Monitoring and optimizing application and database performance to ensure fast response times will also be part of your duties.
