A Commis 1 Pastry (Senior Pastry Cook) prepares daily pastry and bakery items, runs sections with minimal supervision, and assists senior chefs in a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

- Production: Prepare doughs, batters, creams, fillings, breads, and plated desserts following exact recipe and presentation standards.

- Mise en Place: Organize ingredients and equipment before service to ensure the pastry station runs smoothly.

- Quality Control: Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and food storage to reduce waste and maintain high quality.

- Leadership Support: Guide and train junior kitchen staff like Commis 2 and Commis 3.

- Hygiene and Safety: Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and HACCP rules to keep the workspace clean.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Experience:



1 to 3 years of professional experience in a hotel, bakery, or pastry bulk kitchen.

- Education: Min 10th Pass, culinary diploma or formal training in pastry arts is preferred.

- Skills: Strong baking fundamentals, good knife skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a hot environment.

- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
