Oracle ERP Business Development Manager / Inside Sales – Senior
Experience
5–10 years of experience in B2B IT services sales, business development, inside sales, or enterprise software sales, with Oracle ERP experience preferred.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle ERP Business Development Manager / Inside Sales qualified to drive new business opportunities for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP consulting and technology services. The role will focus on identifying and qualifying target accounts, generating and developing sales opportunities, engaging business and IT decision-makers, building a strong pipeline, and supporting opportunities through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
The ideal candidate should understand the Oracle ERP ecosystem and be comfortable engaging with CIOs, CFOs, IT Directors, ERP Directors, Finance leaders, Procurement leaders, and other senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP services.
- Generate leads through outbound calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, sales intelligence databases, events, referrals, and partner networks.
- Research target accounts and identify relevant decision-makers and influencers.
- Qualify leads based on business requirements, budget, timeline, decision process, and opportunity potential.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand customer ERP challenges and business priorities.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, demonstrations, and discovery sessions with Oracle functional and technical teams.
- Promote Oracle ERP implementation, AMS/support, upgrades,
EBS-to-Fusion migration, integration, data migration, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled services.
- Engage with CXO and senior business/IT stakeholders and build long-term customer relationships.
- Manage the sales funnel from Lead → Qualification → Discovery → Opportunity → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages, activities, next steps, and sales forecasts.
- Work with Oracle functional, technical, delivery, and leadership teams to prepare proposals, presentations, estimates, and Statements of Work.
- Support RFP/RFQ responses and coordinate customer presentations and solution discussions.
- Identify high-potential Oracle ERP accounts and develop account-specific sales strategies.
- Track Oracle ERP market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, and opportunities arising from ERP modernization.
- Build and maintain relationships with Oracle ecosystem partners and relevant technology partners.
- Achieve agreed lead-generation, meeting, pipeline, opportunity, and revenue targets.
Target Oracle ERP Services
- Oracle E-Business Suite implementation, enhancement, upgrade, and support.
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation and optimization.
- EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration and ERP modernization.
- Oracle ERP Application Managed Services (AMS).
- Oracle Financials, Procurement, Projects, SCM, and related Cloud/EBS services.
- Oracle integrations, reporting, data migration, testing, automation, and AI-enabled ERP solutions.
- Oracle ERP assessments, health checks, process optimization, and advisory services.
Target Customer Stakeholders
- CIO, CFO, CTO, VP IT, IT Director, ERP Director, Oracle Practice Head.
- Finance Director, Procurement Head, Supply Chain Head, Application Support Head, and Digital Transformation Head.
Required Technical & Business Development Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B IT services, enterprise software, Oracle ERP sales, business development, or inside sales.
- Good understanding of Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and the services surrounding these platforms.
- Proven experience in outbound prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, account research, lead qualification, and opportunity development.
- Experience selling or generating opportunities for Oracle implementation, AMS, upgrades, migrations, integrations, or consulting services.
- Strong ability to engage senior business and IT stakeholders and conduct effective discovery conversations.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, CRM systems, sales forecasts, and opportunity stages.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, follow-up, analytical, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Oracle functional, technical, delivery, and leadership teams.
