We are seeking an experienced CMS and .NET Developer to support and enhance a business-critical corporate website operating within a managed services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining platform stability, resolving application issues, delivering small-scale enhancements, and supporting ongoing website improvements in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams.

This role combines application support, troubleshooting, development, and release activities, ensuring the website remains reliable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day technical support for a live CMS-driven website.
- Investigate reported incidents, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Deliver approved minor enhancements and configuration changes within agreed service levels.
- Support the maintenance of CMS templates, page types, reusable components, and content structures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and confirm expected outcomes.
- Review and assess backlog items, providing effort estimates and technical input where required.
- Assist with release planning, deployment verification, and post-release monitoring.
- Work closely with testing teams to support defect resolution and regression activities.
- Escalate complex issues to senior technical resources when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation, support records, and technical knowledge articles.
- Participate in platform maintenance, upgrades, and patching activities.
- Adhere to established development standards,



governance processes, and change management procedures.

Required Experience and Skills

- Strong experience working with enterprise CMS platforms, particularly Optimizely (formerly Episerver) or similar technologies.
- Solid background in .NET and C# application development.
- Experience supporting and maintaining production websites in a business environment.
- Understanding of content management architecture, including page types, templates, components, and content modelling.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within live environments while following controlled release processes.
- Experience working with service management and ticketing platforms.
- Knowledge of source control, deployment practices, and release management processes.
- Ability to assess development effort and communicate technical considerations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid written communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Experience

- Experience working with cloud-hosted CMS environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure-based web applications.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and CMS optimisation techniques.
- Experience supporting multilingual or multi-region websites.
- Knowledge of website performance tuning and monitoring.
- Awareness of accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
- Previous experience working within managed service or application support teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
