## Operations Manager – Textiles & E-Commerce Operations

Company: Robinbosky / ASM Knits

Location: Tirupur, Tamil Nadu

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Experience: 2–7 years

Employment Type: Full-time

### About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager who can take ownership of the complete garment production and operational flow.

The primary responsibility of this role is to continuously follow up production from cutting until final packing, ensuring every stage is completed on time and according to requirement.

The person will also be responsible for sampling follow-up, stock maintenance, warehouse management, dispatch, and day-to-day e-commerce operations.

This is not a desk-only coordination role. The candidate should actively follow up with different teams, identify delays, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure work moves from one stage to the next without getting stuck.

### Key Responsibilities

#### Production Follow-Up – Primary Responsibility

Take complete responsibility for daily production follow-up from cutting to final packing.

Track each production order through:

Fabric / Material Readiness → Cutting → Stitching → Checking → Finishing → Ironing → Packing → Finished Stock

Maintain clear status of every running production lot/style.

Follow up continuously with cutting, stitching, checking, finishing, and packing teams.

Ensure planned quantities are completed according to daily and weekly production targets.

Identify production delays or bottlenecks early and coordinate with the concerned team to resolve them.

Monitor pending quantities at every production stage.

Ensure completed production is properly transferred into finished-goods stock.

Coordinate production priorities based on stock availability, marketplace sales, and upcoming requirements.

Report important delays, shortages, quality issues, or production risks to management.

#### Sampling Follow-Up

Take responsibility for sampling follow-up from requirement to final approved sample.

Coordinate with the concerned teams for fabric, accessories, cutting, stitching, and finishing of samples.

Maintain a proper list of all pending, ongoing, completed, and approved samples.

Follow up on new product developments and ensure samples are completed within the required timeline.

Track corrections or modifications requested in samples and ensure revised samples are completed.

Coordinate approved samples with production teams before bulk production begins.

Ensure sample specifications, measurements, colours, construction, and other requirements are properly communicated to production.

#### Stock Maintenance & Inventory Control

Maintain accurate raw material, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock.

Ensure all production received into the warehouse is properly counted and recorded.

Maintain correct inward, outward, transfer, and adjustment records.

Regularly compare physical stock with system stock and identify differences.

Monitor stock levels SKU-wise, including size and colour availability.

Identify fast-moving, low-stock, excess-stock, and slow-moving products.

Inform management and production teams about products requiring replenishment.

Ensure proper storage and organisation so products can be easily located, picked, and dispatched.

Prevent stock mismatches, misplaced inventory, and unnecessary accumulation of stock.

Maintain proper records for damaged, returned, rejected, and second-quality products.

#### Warehouse & Dispatch Management

Take overall responsibility for warehouse organisation and daily operations.

Supervise picking, checking, packing, invoicing, and dispatch.

Ensure customer and marketplace orders are dispatched accurately and on time.

Monitor pending orders and ensure there are no avoidable dispatch delays.

Coordinate courier and logistics pickups.

Ensure the correct SKU, colour, size, and quantity are dispatched against every order.

Manage returned products and ensure they are checked, classified, and correctly added back to stock where applicable.

Supervise warehouse, packing, and dispatch staff and allocate daily responsibilities.

#### E-Commerce Operations

Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Meesho, JioMart and the company website.

Monitor marketplace orders and ensure they are processed within required timelines.

Coordinate inventory availability across different sales channels.

Monitor cancellations, returns, RTOs, replacements, and operational issues.

Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams when marketplace stock needs replenishment.

Ensure marketplace operational issues affecting dispatch or inventory are followed up and resolved.

### Daily Monitoring & Reporting The Operations Manager should always have a clear picture of:

What is currently under cutting.

What is under stitching.

What is pending in checking/finishing.

What is ready for packing.

What production is completed.

What sampling is pending.

What stock is running low.

What stock needs replenishment.

What orders are pending dispatch.

What operational issues require immediate attention.

Maintain easy and accurate daily reports for production status, sampling status, stock, dispatch, returns and pending issues.

### Candidate Requirements

2–7 years of experience in garments, textiles, production, warehouse, e-commerce operations, or related roles.

Experience in the Tirupur garment/textile industry is strongly preferred.

Good understanding of garment production processes from cutting to packing.

Strong production follow-up ability.

Experience in sampling coordination and follow-up is preferred.

Good understanding of stock maintenance and warehouse operations.

E-commerce marketplace experience is an added advantage.

Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, ERP/software systems, and online dashboards.

Strong follow-up skills and ability to get work completed on time.

Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and workers simultaneously.

Should be organised, responsible, practical, and capable of taking ownership.

- Tamil communication is essential; working knowledge of English is preferred.

### What We Are Looking For The most important quality for this position is follow-up and ownership.

The candidate should not simply collect production updates. They should actively ensure that work moves continuously through:

Sampling → Production Planning → Cutting → Stitching → Checking → Finishing → Packing → Stock → Order Processing → Dispatch

If production is delayed, stock is mismatched, a sample is pending, or an order is stuck, the Operations Manager should identify the problem, follow up with the responsible person, and drive it toward completion.

### Salary

₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will depend on experience, garment production knowledge, production follow-up capability, sampling exposure, stock-management skills, e-commerce knowledge, and team-handling ability.
