- Manage end-to-end operations for Metal Recovery, Slag Evacuation, Slag Transportation and Scrap Processing within a steel plant.
- Plan and control daily production, manpower, equipment utilization and operational targets across 3 shifts.
- Lead Team Leads, Shift In-charges, Plant Operators and Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Operators.
- Ensure EHS, safety, quality, SOP and production standards are strictly followed.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Procurement, Customer and Site Management to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production KPIs, data metrics, budgets and cost-control initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial / Chemical Engineering with 15+ years of experience.
- OR Diploma in relevant engineering with 20+ years of experience.
- Mandatory/Preferred: Experience in Steel Manufacturing – Melt Shop / Blast Furnace environment.
- Strong exposure to steel plant operations, slag handling/recovery, scrap processing and production management.
- Positive knowledge of Excel, PPT, production reporting and data analytics.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving and team management skills.
