Instead of operating as a marketplace, ZepNest uses a managed-partner model with verified partners, transparent time-based pricing, digital job tracking, and post-service warranty management.

Through a single app, users can access on-demand repairs, AMC subscriptions, property management, and asset tracking. The company aims to build a comprehensive operating system for homes, based on 24 months of ground research across South India. ZepNest is launching in Chennai and is actively looking for talent to join its growing team.

Role Description The Operations Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The intern will support day-to-day operational activities, including coordinating with service partners, managing job schedules, and monitoring service delivery quality.

Responsibilities include assisting in process documentation, tracking operational metrics, and helping streamline workflows to improve efficiency. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as customer support and sales to ensure smooth execution of services and timely resolution of issues.



The role offers exposure to tech-enabled operations, property management workflows, and the scaling of a home services platform.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance indicators, and support operational decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, service partners, and customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Candidates should possess basic Sales skills to support partner onboarding and promote services when required.
- Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to assist in process optimization, resource coordination, and service quality monitoring.
- Candidates should possess foundational Project Management skills to help plan, track, and report on operational initiatives.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency with spreadsheets and operations tools, attention to detail, a willingness to learn in a fast-paced workplace, and familiarity with tech-enabled or service-based businesses.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
