Role Description The Online Tutor role at One Tutor Learning is a full-time hybrid position based in Quilon, with flexibility for some work-from-home hours. The tutor will deliver 1-to-1 online sessions in Mathematics and/or Science for students in Grades 5 to 12, following CBSE, ICSE, and State syllabi. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering interactive lessons, assessing student understanding, and adapting teaching methods to individual learning needs.

The tutor will provide regular academic guidance, track student progress,



share constructive feedback with learners and guardians, and maintain accurate records of sessions and performance. The role also involves using online tools and digital resources to create engaging learning experiences and collaborating with the One Tutor Learning team to enhance overall teaching quality.

Qualifications

- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and/or Science for Grades 5–12, with familiarity with CBSE, ICSE, and State syllabi.

- Proficiency in online teaching tools and platforms, including video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and learning management systems.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and encourage student participation.

- Demonstrated ability to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt teaching strategies to individual student needs.

- Organizational and time-management skills to plan lessons, manage schedules, and maintain accurate academic records.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field; formal teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.

- Comfort working in a hybrid setup based in Quilon, with readiness to conduct both in-person and online sessions as required.
