About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled North Indian Chef to join our restaurant team in Kodungalloor, Kerala.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of authentic North Indian cuisine and be capable of independently managing the North Indian section while maintaining consistent taste, quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a wide range of authentic North Indian dishes.
- Handle Tandoor, kebabs, tikka, naan, roti, curries, gravies, and other North Indian specialties.
- Maintain consistent taste, portion sizes, food quality, and presentation.
- Follow standardized recipes and maintain proper food costing and portion control.
- Manage daily mise en place and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen team regarding ingredient requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain efficient use of ingredients.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.




- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and served according to the restaurant's standards.

Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a North Indian Chef, preferably in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Strong expertise in authentic North Indian cuisine.
- Excellent knowledge of Tandoor and Indian breads is preferred.
- Ability to maintain consistency in taste and quality.
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Candidates with experience in high-volume restaurants will be preferred.
