A hospital seeking qualified NICU Staff Nurses to provide specialized nursing care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The position involves rotational shifts and requires a strong commitment to patient safety and quality neonatal care.

Qualifications

- GNM or B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution.

- Relevant experience in NICU or neonatal nursing is preferred.

- Valid registration with the appropriate State Nursing Council.

- Knowledge of neonatal care procedures, monitoring, infection control, and emergency nursing practices.

- Positive clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, observation, and documentation skills.

- Willingness to work rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

- Provide nursing care to newborns admitted to the NICU according to established clinical protocols.

- Monitor vital signs, clinical condition, and response to treatment.

- Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergency interventions.

- Administer medications, fluids,



and treatments as prescribed.

- Operate and monitor NICU equipment and promptly report any abnormalities.

- Maintain proper infection-control and aseptic practices.

- Maintain accurate nursing records, patient charts, medication records, and shift handover documentation.

- Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

- Provide appropriate information and support to parents and attendants within the scope of nursing practice.

- Follow hospital policies, patient-safety standards, infection-control procedures, and professional nursing ethics.

- Demonstrate strong neonatal-care skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and clinical decision-making.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
