Role Description The Network Security Architect role is a full time remote position responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network and security architectures for client environments. In this role, you will assess existing infrastructures, identify vulnerabilities, and develop robust security designs, including segmentation, secure connectivity, and resilience strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define security requirements, select appropriate technologies, and ensure that network solutions align with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory standards.





Daily activities include producing architecture documentation and diagrams, reviewing configurations and change requests, performing threat and risk analyses, and providing guidance on secure design patterns. You will also contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating emerging threats and technologies, supporting security assessments, and mentoring team members on network security principles.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Security Architecture Design and Network Architecture to create scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
- Candidates should possess deep expertise in Network Security, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, secure routing and switching, and network segmentation.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Cybersecurity practices, such as threat modeling, risk assessment, and security controls across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Information Security principles, standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks).
- Relevant experience with security technologies (e.g., next-gen firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, zero trust models) and major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or vendor-specific network/security certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, Palo Alto, Fortinet) are preferred.
